Vision and Hearing Screens

Every new student to the district will have hearing and vision screens updated during the current school year. As of the 2022-2023 school year, all 7th grade students will be screened for vision during the school year, fulfilling a state requirement. Since this is a change from our previous screening schedules, for the 2022-23 school year only we will also be completing vision screens for all 8^th grade students. 

Parents/guardians of students not passing these tests will be sent a letter of referral, to which they must respond.  Referrals may be returned to the school nurse with a signature of acknowledgement, via fax to 316-794-4063, or via email to sgrilliot@goddardusd.com.

8^th grade vision screens will be done the week of September 27^th, 2022. 

7^th grade vision screens will be done the week of October 4^th, 2022.
