If your child received a letter at the end of the school year last year, your child's immunizations are due October 1st!  If you're not sure, please feel free to call or email me and I can check this for you.  If you received a letter and you know your child is 'up-to-date', it may be that we just don't have records of the most recent dates.  Don't wait until the last minute to get this scheduled!!

Tips for a great school year:

After an illness, your student should be fever free (below 99.6º F) for 24 hours without the aid of a fever reducing medication before returning to school!

If your student takes a prescription medication at school, new paperwork needs to be filled out each school year.  This includes inhalers and insulin! Please use the following links to print a copy for your child's doctor to sign and also sign yourself as parent/guardian.  Then send this paper and the medication to school with your child to give to the nurse.  Thank you!

During the school year, I will perform vision and hearing tests on all students new to the district. Also, all eighth grade students will be screened for vision in January fulfilling the Kansas State requirement.  Parents of students not passing these tests, will be sent a letter of referral.  Please respond to these referrals by returning the note, by phone call, email or fax.
