Please keep your student home if they test positive for CoVid or Influenza, the district has a 5 day exclusion period for these illnesses.

Please contact the school nurse to verify exclusion dates.

A sick child cannot learn effectively and is unable to participate in class as usual.  Keeping your child home prevents the spread of illnesses in the school and allows them the opportunity to rest and recover completely from their illness.  Please do not hesitate to contact the School Nurse with any questions, 316-794-4113.

When your child is sick…

  •  Please call the school office at 316-794-4150 and let them know your child will be absent.
  •  Please inform the school nurse if your child has strep throat, pink eye, chicken pox, flu, or another communicable disease/infection, so we may work with you on your child’s return-to-school date.  We may require a doctor’s note indicating diagnosis to return to school.
  •  Your child should be fever-free for 24 hours without medication before returning to school after an illness.
