Things are looking pretty groovy for these 5 Oak Street Tigers. They were chosen as a tiger ticket winner this week and earned their own Tie Dye kit! This will allow them to tie dye a variety of clothing items and accessories. Have such a great time. (This prize was recommended by a third grade student, and we couldn't say no to the prize suggestion!)

Our Social Worker, Mrs. Barrett, received a nice surprise from a student and his mom. They bought her some books from her wish list and she is so excited to use them for social/emotional reading in her groups! This was such a nice gesture from them ❤️.

Goddard Public Schools launched a new mobile app to help students, parents, and community members know what is happening on campus from their phones. Most families use their phones as a primary means of communication, so we've created an app that is custom-built for your child's school for smartphones. The app lets you read the latest announcements, locate staff contact information, review upcoming events, and find important documents. The Goddard Public Schools App is available to download for FREE from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store today!

We are such a lucky school to have one of the best school counselors. Ms. Buresh has connections to students and staff all over the building, and makes a positive impact each day. Behind the scenes Ms. Buresh supports so many and helps others have the best school day possible. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for all that you do. Happy School Counseling Week!

Going old school on this Tiger Trait/Team Time Tuesday drawing and we are giving out containers of silly putty to the winners. All the teachers feel nostalgic about this prize! Congratulations to this group for showing their tiger traits for just two days and earning tickets. Our monthly trait is Kindness. We look forward to focusing on this additional trait all month long. See you Thursday for another drawing before our 4 day weekend!
