The Body Venture is an enclosed, walk-through exhibit representing the human body. At each of the Body Venture's 11 learning stations, a volunteer presenter engages students in an experiential and educational activity focused on healthy choices.
We will need MANY parent volunteers to run the learning stations within the exhibit on Wednesday, Oct. 2nd as well as help facilitate this successful event. If you are willing to help for the AM session / PM session or all day please use the link below and sign up!

PE is having fun today!! The inflatables are set up and ready for Tiger Fun Night!! Hope to see you here from 5-7:30 PM

Mrs. Hickey is joining us for Motivational Monday. She is showing off her shirt that reminds us mistakes help us grow. Mrs. H loves to encourage others to at least try, and mistakes show that you ARE trying in Kindergarten. This is true for any grade! Thanks for the start of the week motivation!

Looking forward to a great night of FUN!

This set of Oak Street rock stars were drawn as Tiger Ticket winners today!. They each will get their own Rapid Rumble game. This game is advertised as the fastest, funniest, and cleverest category game! I can't wait to hear if our winners find this to be true. Enjoy and congratulations!

Mrs. Marge gave this sweet friend a tour of the kitchen today! He was so excited!

Lots of great updates!

PTO Tiger Tuesday Fun Night is Tuesday, September 24th from 5:00-7:30 pm at Oak Street Elementary. Last Day to Pre-Purchase Tickets is Friday! Tickets can still be purchased at the event.

Today's edition of twinning is a little different; this time we have twinning cups at OAK Street.

Mrs. McReynolds' class earns points for showing their Tiger Traits as a whole class. They also earn points for compliments that they receive from other teachers. They reached their first goal and earned a “Board Game Bash” time. They played Uno, Life, Sorry, Checkers, Tic Tac Toe along with some other games.

These kiddos names were drawn in the Tiger Ticket drawing on Friday and that prize was lunch with Mrs. Miller at Braums today.

Ms. Helen's students are doing a great job today!!

Annually, the 3rd Tuesday in September is National IT Professional's Day. OAK Street is lucky to have two IT Specialists. They are invaluable assets, always resolving issues with impressive expertise and efficiency. We couldn't do it without Mickie and Tyler. Thank you!!!!

Today is a special drawing that had our tiger ticket box full! Mrs. Miller offered to take our winners to the local Braum's for lunch next week. This is a prize that even the teachers were hopeful to win! All are great kids and did an amazing job earning tiger tickets this week. Congratulations! Please enjoy some french fries for all of us!

1st Grade had a special guest reader this morning. Katelyn Andrist stopped by to read her very own book Becoming Confident and share confidence skills with our firsties. It was such a fun time and we are so glad that Miss Katelyn could come by! She even left us with our own copy of her book. 💖
