Today Ms. Burr’s 1st Grade Class and Mrs. Condray’s 4th Grade Class met for their first buddy meeting. They helped celebrate 1st grade’s Apple Week by predicting if apples would sink or float and then enjoying some yummy applesauce 🍎🤩

The 4th Graders are in full concert preparation mode! This week they've been learning guitar chords to “Blue Suede Shoes”
The 4th Grade Music Program is set for November 7th, 2024 and is titled “Blast From The Past…Decades Style”

Happy Monday from the Science Room. Ms. Ronksley is joining us for Motivational Monday. She has the best shirt on that states "It's a beautiful day to teach Science!". She has loved having the chance to meet and teach every Oak Street student. She loves her new position in Science. Thanks for sharing with us Ms. Ronksley!
KAY is sponsoring their annual Daddy/Daughter Dance on Sunday, September 22nd this year! They would love to see as many dads and daughters as possible for this fun event. The theme this year is Enchanted Forest and they have a lot of fun planned.
TONIGHT is Oak Street Elementary Spirit Night at McAlister's Deli from 5-10 PM. 7130 W. Maple St. Suite 320. Tell them you're with Oak Street and 20% of sales will be donated back to the OAK Street PTO.
This is no joke! This group of 5 just won the Oak Street Tiger Ticket prize this afternoon. They are taking home a fabulous book of over 800 jokes! Be ready for all of the belly laughs. Congratulations to these students!

September 8th is World Physical Therapy Day. We are celebrating our own Physical Therapist, Emily Tejano, today! She is always happy, willing to help, and very knowledgeable. We appreciate you and all that you do for our staff and students.

Happy Tiger Trait Tuesday! Every first Tuesday of the month we get to celebrate a positive trait, and this month happens to be Respect. We wear our Oak Street shirts with other Tiger gear to get in the mood, then we end the day with a drawing. This lucky group had their tickets drawn, and won a joke book. We should have 5 new comedians walking our halls now. Congrats and get ready to hear a few jokes!
